AI shopping assistant for Shopify

A shop assistant who has read your whole store.

Refik answers your shoppers out of your own catalogue, stock and policy pages — then takes them to the product that actually fits. It installs as a Shopify app and never writes to your theme files.

Which of these is right for fine hair that gets oily fast?

The lighter one. The mask is a weekly step, so it would be a second product rather than a swap — and both are in stock in the size you were looking at.

Your shipping page lists Canada: 5–8 days, free over the listed threshold.

Ask anything about this store

Powered by Refik

A scripted sample conversation, in the storefront chat markup with this page's glass skin over it. The products, prices and answers are examples — not a live store and not a recorded session.

What Refik reads

Every answer comes out of your store. This is the whole list.

There is no second source. If your store does not say it, Refik does not say it either — it hands the conversation to you instead.

  • Refik reads thisProducts
  • Refik reads thisVariants & options
  • Refik reads thisPrices
  • Refik reads thisLive stock
  • Refik reads thisCollections
  • Refik reads thisOrder status
  • Refik reads thisReturns
  • Refik reads thisStore policies
  • Refik reads thisAnswers you write
  • Refik reads thisA code you choose

These are the exact access scopes Refik asks for when you install it. Nothing beyond this list is requested, and nothing beyond this list can reach an answer:

  • read_products
  • read_inventory
  • read_orders
  • write_returns
  • read_legal_policies
  • write_customers

What Refik does

Your shopper gets the answer where they asked it. And you get to read what they asked.

It speaks in your store's words

Refik builds its knowledge from your product data, your policy pages and the answers you write yourself. When there is no source for a question, it says so and hands the conversation over. It does not improvise a policy.

It won't offer what you can't sell

Refik reads live stock and variants. When an option is gone it says so, and moves to an alternative that can actually be bought.

Questions turn into decisions

The console keeps every conversation: the questions asked most, the ones Refik could not answer, and the ones that became an order. Read together, that is a product to-do list — not a support metric.

Storefront + console

The side your shopper sees and the side you run are one product.

Most assistants are a chat box glued onto a store. In Refik the storefront and the console share a single knowledge base — which is why correcting an answer takes one place and one minute.

See what it reads

Storefront — what the shopper sees

Four theme blocks plus the chat embed — five places in all. You switch each one on in your own theme editor.

Chat bubble

On every page, carrying cart, order and product context with it.

Search help

Turns an empty search result into a question — and a product that exists.

Product questions

“Will this size work for me?” answered from that product's own data.

Question bar

Ready-made questions on collection and article pages, in that page's context.

Routine suggestion

A few questions, then a set — with a reason written next to every step.

Cart surface

Part of the chat embed: a last check in the cart — what is missing, what goes with it, what ships when.

Console — what you run

Six screens inside Shopify admin — no second password for you. Teammates you invite can open the same console on the web.

Overview

What happened today, and the one thing that needs you.

Inbox

Every conversation, with the page it happened on and how it ended.

Insights

Most asked, never answered, and the ones that became an order — read from the cart, not a tracking pixel.

Knowledge

You choose the sources. Correct an answer and the correction is live the same day.

Configuration

Tone, which surfaces are on, and when Refik should hand a conversation to you.

Plan and usage

The live conversation count against your cap, so the invoice never surprises you.

Plain numbers

Three numbers we can actually prove

These are limits of the product, read from its own build. They are not customer results — we do not have one worth printing yet.

11

storefront languages, each one fully translated.

Source: Refik's own code — the trial length from its billing rules, the five surfaces from its theme app extension, the languages from its translation files. Nothing on this page is a measured customer outcome. When we have one, it will replace one of these three and it will say whose store it came from.

Not a claim. A description of the install.

Shopify app · theme app extension

A Shopify app, not a theme edit

Refik installs from the Shopify App Store and reads products, stock, orders, returns and policies through the Admin API. Its storefront surfaces are theme app extension blocks that you switch on in your own theme editor. Refik never writes to your theme files, and uninstalling takes the surfaces with it.

One tenant per store

One store's data stays in one store

Every store is a separate tenant. Refik cannot use one store's knowledge in another store's answer, and that separation lives in the data layer — it is a query boundary, not a sentence in a prompt asking the model to behave.

  • It says when it doesn't know

No source, no answer. Refik hands the conversation to you instead of guessing a policy.

  • Stock is the truth

It will not recommend what cannot be bought. Sold out means an alternative, not silence.

  • A hard ceiling on the bill

When the plan's conversation cap is reached, conversations stop. Nothing upgrades itself.

  • Removal leaves nothing

Uninstall and the storefront is exactly as it was before you installed.
